We typically purchase full collections or bulk lots, but if you only have a few records to sell, that’s perfectly fine too. If you're unsure whether your records are a good fit, just ask—we’re happy to help.

What we don't usually buy:

While we’re always on the lookout for interesting and collectible items, there are some formats and genres that typically don’t sell well in today’s market. These include:

  • Most 78s, unless they’re blues, doo-wop, rockabilly, or early rock ’n’ roll.
  • 45s without sleeves or those released after the early 1970s (unless rare or in high demand).
  • Records without covers or with significant water damage or mold.
  • Mass-produced box sets like Time-Life, Reader’s Digest, Longines Symphonette, etc.
  • Low-demand genres such as:
    • Sing-along albums (e.g., Mitch Miller)
    • Easy listening (e.g., Mantovani, Ray Conniff)
    • Musicals, Christmas albums, and religious records
    • Big band/swing, polka, and opera
    • Common artists with high press volume and low resale value (e.g., Andy Williams, Barbra Streisand, Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, John Denver, etc.)

If you’re unsure whether your items are a good fit, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to take a look and offer guidance.

What we cannot buy:

Due to space, demand, and shipping limitations, we typically do not purchase:

  • Consoles and all-in-one audio systems
  • CD players (unless portable like Walkman)
  • Cassette decks/players
  • DVD players

These items generally have limited resale value or are difficult to transport and store. However, if you have something unusual or in pristine condition, it never hurts to ask!
